Direct duel changes leaders of Super League Stars

The Super League Stars have a new leader. After the results of the sixth round of the competition, the Universitario took over the top of the table. Sport Callao returned to win and recovered the vice-leadership. The Virgen de Chapi fell to third place. At the bottom of the standings, the Academia was able to climb up the standings.

In a duel between the last placed, San Agustin and Deportivo Palestino performed a balanced game. After a 2-2 draw, Deportivo took the best in shoot-outs. In the direct confrontation between the leaders, better for the Universitario, who surpassed the Virgen of Chapi by 3 to 2 and took the lead.

In front of the Sport Callao, The Alianza was unable to rediscover the path of victories and stumbled again, losing by 5 to 2 and falling to the last positions. With the victory the Sport assumed the vice-leadership. Closing the round Academia surpassed the Alas Peruanas by 7 to 2 and jumped to the fourth position.

It's coming the League of the America’s 2017

 Registration for the next edition of the League of the Americas are open. The 3rd edition will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, between July 13 and 16.
