FIF7 announces affiliation of PROMOFUT Costa Rica

The FIF7 has a new affiliate. The PROMOFUT, responsible for the development of futsal, with activity in several countries of Central America, will be responsible for the development project of football 7 in Costa Rica. The League joins the FIF7 at a time of great growth and strengthening of the International Federation in the continent. In the month of May of 2018, will happen the first edition of the Central American Cup, which will count with the participation of teams from all of Central America.

"We are very pleased with the arrival of PROMOFUT in Costa Rica. We know the serious work they do in futsal and we know that they have a great capacity to manage the development of football 7 in the country. We received the project they created for Costa Rica and we will give unconditional support. We wish to welcome all sportsmen and women in Costa Rica the FIF7 family", said Fabian Canaveris, president of the International Football Federation 7.

The PROMOFUT is chaired by Frank Hurtado and has a team of experienced professionals and highly qualified in sports management.
