In addition to winning the Copa America 2018 Brazil led achievements of individual awards

After three days of competition the Copa America had as finalists Brazil and Peru. On Monday (9) teams entered court with the Lima arena completely crowded and held an exciting game. Brazil opened good advantage in the first half endured the pressure and defeated Peru by 5 to 3 becoming champion of the Copa America 2018.

The Brazilian team started the game very well and opened a 4-0 lead. However, with the support of the fans, Peru also marked in the first stage and managed to decrease to 4 to 3. The Peruvian team pressed to the end for a draw  but in the last bid Brazil scored another and won by 5 to 3.

Beyond the title with an unbeaten campaign Brazil led the individual awards. Coach Marco Antonio Batata was named the best coach. Rodrigo Rocha won the award for best goalkeeper while Chayene was voted the best player in the competition. Argentino Jose was the top scorer.
