I Templari Calcio A7 is Serie A champion of Calcio Liguria

The Genoese lineup of I Templari was champion in the Serie A Championship of 2017/2018 organized by Calcio Liguria in Italy. In the provincial final the team of President Giovanni Gronchi and Sports Director Milton Ortiz triumphed clearly winning the rivals of the Celtic Warriors (6-0).

After winning the Series B Championship in the football season 2016/2017, the formation of the Templars managed to win the second consecutive championship. The team is a winning mix of young players and more experienced players. The youngest is Kevin Machuca (19), the most experienced being Guillermo Jauch (55).

The scorers of the team are Simone Pasquali and Marcelo Quiroga: both scored 18 goals each. Wilson Machuca (14 goals) and Enrique Ayala (13 goals) were among the best scorers of the season. In defense, the strong point of the team is Guillermo Galvez.

After winning two championships in two seasons, now the I Templari team participates in the Football 7 European Championship in Barcelona (Spain), organized by the Federation Internationale de Football 7, with the aim of aiming high and representing the Ligurian Region in the best possible way.
