Brazil will call up players for Copa America in October

The Brazilian team, which will host the Copa America 2020, will call for the dispute next month, in October. With the readjustment calendar of the Federation International Football 7 (FIF), due to the pandemic, the board of the Brazilian Clubs Association preferred to wait to define the summons.

At the beginning of the year Brazil had announced a call, however, with the nine-month postponement of the competition, the Brazilian board decided to make a new list.

"It is fairer and more appropriate to make the new call in the second half of October so that it is possible to call up the best players who are currently active," said Wanderlei Ramos, president of the Brazilian Club Association.

This is the second consecutive edition of the Copa America in Brazil, last year the team was champion in the male and female categories.
