Vasco da Gama (BRA) beats Figueirense (BRA) 2-1 and advances to the semifinals of the Women's League of the Americas

Arena Rodrigo Mendes, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, received this Sunday morning (06) the match between Figueirense (BRA) and Vasco da Gama (BRA) for the quarterfinals of the League of the Americas. In a busy duel, Vasco won 2-1 and secured the classification in the semifinal of the competition.

The teams started with an intense pace of play and after 12 minutes of the first half Tatiane opened the scoring for Vasco. In the second stage, Cruzmaltino continued imposing his style of play and with Taninha's goal sealed the classification. Heloisa decreased to Figueirense.

In the semifinal, which takes place this Sunday afternoon, Vasco da Gama faces Sassuolo (MEX), at 16:30.
