After a 3-3 draw in normal time, the decision went to penalties and Grêmio secured the semifinal classification by winning 3-2.

Nicholas was the great highlight of Grêmio. The player swung the net twice. Sérgio completed. For Chapecoense, André decided twice and Jeferson secured the tie.
