The Rodrigo Mendes Arena, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, received this Monday (7th) the match between Colombia and Mexico for the opening round of the Copa América Feminina. In a very disputed match, Mexico surpassed the opponent by 3 to 1.
The teams had an intense duel this Monday afternoon. In the 21st minute, Lulu Gordillo opened the scoring for Mexico. In the second stage, Colombia sought a reaction and managed to equalize with Paola's goal. But soon the team from Mexico took the game and guaranteed victory with another goal from Lulu and Valeria Macias.
The teams return on the court this Tuesday (08), for the second round. Colombia faces Chile at 13:00. The Mexico faces Brazil at 14h15.
