Brazil debuts in the Women's Copa America with victory over Chile

The 2020 Copa America began. At the Rodrigo Mendes Arena, in Porto Alegre, Brazil and Chile dueled last Monday (07) for the opening round of the competition. Imposing its style of play, Brazil surpassed the opponent by 5 to 0.

The national teams started imposing a rhythm of play, with Brazil standing out in both attack and defense. After Brazil opened 3-0 on the scoreboard, the Chilean women started to tighten the scoring and seek more the goal.

In the second stage, Brazil again dictated the pace, ensuring the result. The goals were from Camilla (2), Jéssica, Taninha and Renata.

The second round of the competition takes place this Tuesday (08). Chile faces Colombia at 13h. Brazil faces Mexico at 14h15.
