Brazil and Mexico started the match with great intensity and went to the break with a 2-2 draw. In the second stage, the pressure increased and Brazil counted on goals from Júlio César and Iago to ensure the victory. Ewerton and Andreas scored in the first stage. For the Mexican team, Miguel, Marcos and Oscar scored.
With the result, Brazil has six points and is the leader of group A. Mexico has three points and is in the second position.
The third round takes place this Tuesday. Mexico faces Chile. Brazil faces Ecuador.
