In a very disputed game, Chile's team defeats Ecuador 5-4 for the second round of the Copa America

The Rodrigo Mendes Arena, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, received this Tuesday (08) the match between Ecuador and Chile for the second round of the Copa America 2020. In a very disputed and very emotional match, Chile overcame the opponent by 5 to 4 and achieved the first victory in the competition.

Highlight for Rodrigo Asenjo, who scored two goals. Javier, Oscar and Bryan closed the scoring. For Ecuador, Angel Marin was the highlight, scoring two goals. Carlos and Jorge completed.

With the result, Chile has three points and is vice-leader of the group. Ecuador remains without points, in fourth place.

The third round takes place this Tuesday. Chile faces Mexico. Ecuador faces Brazil.
