Leonas (Chile) are the new champions of the F7 Women’s Club World Championship. In the grand final, played on Tuesday (26), the Chileans defeated Corinthians 4–1 in a dominant and confident performance from start to finish. With a fluid collective game, great intensity, and clinical finishing, Leonas gave the Brazilian side no chance.
Corinthians tried to keep the match balanced in the first half but were largely outplayed in the second. Leonas maintained control of possession and capitalized on the spaces left by their opponent. With this result, the team closed their campaign unbeaten and with the tournament’s best attack, confirming the favoritism built since the group stage.
The victory marks the pinnacle of Leonas’ journey, as they enter history as one of the world’s leading F7 clubs. Despite the defeat, Corinthians had an outstanding campaign and secured the runners-up spot. The tournament also featured Pinheiros (PR) and Lazio battling for third place, wrapping up an edition highlighted by high technical level, balance, and memorable matches.
