International Federation Announces 2025 Best of the Season Awards
Annual recognition held since 2011 honors the top athletes and coaches of International Football 7

The International Football 7 Federation will hold, at the end of the 2025 season, its traditional Best of the Year Awards, an annual recognition held since 2011, honoring athletes and coaches who stood out throughout the organization’s official calendar in national and international competitions.

In this edition, the awards will feature a carefully expanded performance analysis. In addition to performances in official International Football 7 competitions, the performances of athletes and coaches in Kings League matches and events will also be considered on a complementary basis.

However, the Federation emphasizes that only Kings League athletes and coaches who are also regularly affiliated with competitions of the International Federation will be evaluated. In other words, performances in the Kings League will not be analyzed in isolation, but only when the sports professional is part of the International Federation’s competitive ecosystem.

Thus, if an athlete or coach affiliated with the International Federation has participated in Kings League events or competitions during the season, their performances in those international events will also be taken into account in the evaluation process, in addition to their performances in official International Football 7 competitions.

This measure reinforces the International Federation’s commitment to valuing high performance, global competitiveness, and the development of the sport, recognizing professionals who compete on multiple international stages, always in compliance with clearly defined technical, regulatory, and institutional criteria.
