The city of Rome is set to become the global hub of Football 7 this July. Over a 12-day period, the Italian capital will host two of the sport’s most prestigious international events, organized by the International Football 7 Federation: Euro Football 7, featuring both national teams and club sides, followed by the Intercontinental Nations Cup, which will bring together teams from different continents in a high-level competition.
The official launch took place at the headquarters of the Italian National Olympic Committee, with the presence of officials, clubs, and media representatives. During the event, the President of Lega Calcio a 8, Fabrizio Loffreda, led the official presentation, highlighting Rome’s strategic role as host city and the global impact these events are expected to generate for the growth and consolidation of Football 7 worldwide.
